Highlights

You can now import and export your users!

  • Go to Operations > Exports and run the Export Users to get a tab-delimited file. You can open that file in any spreadsheet application to manipulate the data.
  • Run the Import Users: Add or Update operation to update existing KnT users, whether that’s updating their grade in the new year, or adding their homeroom information. See the Imports page for how to set up a proper import file (or use Exports!).

Slip printing is now available in the new KeepnTrack! Set up your activities for a specific Print Format (none, badges, or slips), and configure your Kiosk Settings for a slip or badge printer or both. Student tardy slips and hall passes here we come!

The new KeepnTrack does not have special types of activities for ‘late arrival’ or ‘early dismissal’. You’ll want to create these activities yourself in order to track those events.

Destinations, or sub-activities, let you better organize your Activities or add more granular tracking. For example, if you have an activity for Classroom, the destinations for that activity might be the names of the teachers for your visitors/volunteers.

Users > Roles now offers a list of sites that you can authorize for this user, which controls what kiosks they can sign in to. If your volunteers are volunteering at multiple sites, you’ll want to update this list so they can sign in to kiosks at those sites.

New & Improved

  • General Notes are included in user exports and can now be imported with other user data. See Field Mapping for more.
  • Users > Roles now offers a list of sites that you can authorize for this user, which controls what kiosks they can sign in to. If your volunteers are volunteering at multiple sites, you’ll want to update this list so they can sign in to kiosks at those sites.
  • Including the ‘Background Check consent’ question on a form now requires that a user filling out the form answer yes or no on the question.
  • Logging improved for admin, kiosks, and checks.

Fixed

  • We’ve made improvements to Express Mode so it should be easier to sign people in.
  • We tidied up Security Checks with an API update and more error handling.
  • We’ve added some more error handling for security checks.
  • Checks that were run on a Form are now transferring the ‘last checked’ date to the User record, so automatic checks in kiosks know not to run for those users.
